    How y'all doing this summer

    Wednesday, August 6, 2008, 02:07 PM [General]

Sorry haven't  posted in  a while.    Got a new PBA Shark ball (elite bowling)   and the ball does move.

(At least 2-3 boards left from using the Resurgence - I'm a stroker/down-in type player)    I brought my average up to 213 on Mondays at my normal house..  But at another Bowling Center that we've tried this summer league,   I'm only around 192.    Different oil pattern,  but honestly I still have to figure out what the heck I'm doing wrong there,  11 weeks in with 4 to go.

I hope you all have had a nice summer and bowled well.    Take care!   :)

Into, and out of a funk

    Monday, June 2, 2008, 10:05 PM [General]

My 1st week at 2 summe leagues went as follows.     498, 522.       If that doesn't stink more than an

upside down skunk on the side of the road,  I don't know what does.

This week,   615, 671.      Much better.       My coach started me about a month ago going straight

at my corner pin spares (4,6,7,10) with a spare ball now breaking my wrist.    I have not perfected it by far,  but it's hopefully going to pay off in the long run.

Hope everyones' having a great (almost) Summer.

    Just ordered a Resurgence

    Tuesday, May 6, 2008, 11:09 PM [General]

Does anyone have/use this ball?   All the reviews are pretty good,  not to mention

the whole Barnes thing and all the ladies using them last weekend.    Someone on my

Monday league used one,   and the ball seemed to have quite some movement.   Any

    feedback?

    Thanks!

    poor finish

    Tuesday, April 29, 2008, 07:06 PM [General]

Lanes seem to dry up before we had a chance to start up the last week off winter league.

    (I know,  no excuse)

Sunday,  finished up with a 610   (ending the season at 196 avg.)

Monday, a 565 w high gm 221.      Never adjusted quite right.     (ended this league season at 199 avg.)

All n all,  i've made a big jump in average from last summers 168.     Lots more work to do over the summer.    I'd like to get to the next level,  whatever that is,  hopefully

making it into the 200's,  and will try and get some tournament experience.

Good luck everyone + have a great summer!

    2nd Perfect game

    Sunday, April 20, 2008, 09:26 PM [General]

Just wrapped up 2nd to last week at Sunday night mixed.    Bowled a 158 uggh 3 splits,

204 w/1 split,  and 300.     My 2nd 300 on this league,  and ever.     662 Series     I'm one happy camper.

The lanes started dry and got drier.   The adjustment that I made was moved my feet three boards left and picked up ball speed.

    Have a good night  :)
